TopCoder College Tour SRM Overview

The Event

TopCoder is sponsoring an onsite programming competition at Ohio University on Tuesday 10.23.2007.

Registration for this event ends on Monday 10.22.2007 11:59 PM EDT.

The event is from 08:30 PM EDT until 11:00 PM EDT in Stocker 306. This event is being run in conjunction with Single Round Match 373 . In addition to registering with TopCoder, all competitors must register here and be onsite for the competition. After the event ends, food will be served and a TopCoder representative will be present to discuss TopCoder competitions and employment services.

Prizes

• 1st place prize - 4Gb iPod Nano
• 2nd place prize - Logitech MX Revolution Wireless mouse
• 3rd place prize - 4Gb Usb Flash Drive

All competitors will receive a TopCoder t-shirt. Placement in the SRM will be determined by the total number of points at the conclusion of the SRM. The competitor with the highest total positive (i.e., greater than zero) points will finish in 1st place. The overall winner will receive the 1st place prize, the 2nd place finisher will receive the 2nd place prize, and the 3rd place finisher will receive the 3rd place prize.

The timeline for the day of the event:

• 08:30 PM EDT - Computer lab opens & competitors set up
• 09:00 PM EDT - Competition starts
• 10:35 PM EDT - Competition ends
• 10:40 PM EDT - Food & TopCoder presentation
