Copilot Tournament During TCO13!

We are happy to announce a special opportunity for TopCoder copilots!
During the 2013 TopCoder Open, we will be awarding four all-expense paid trips to the TCO13 onsite event November 10 – 14, 2013 at the Capital Hilton, Washington D.C., USA.

The four trips will be awarded using the following method looking at contests from each Period of the TCO13:
1. Remove copilots who have fulfillment less than 85% in their software contests. (Studio contests are not considered in the fulfillment calculation. If a copilot has only studio contests then this filter will not be applied.)
2. Rank the remaining copilots by earnings made. The top earner from each Period will win the trip!

The leaderboard is calculated based on Copilot earnings within each period. The earnings within each period are defined as:
1. Copilot payments that are associated with a Jira ticket (i.e. Bug Races management) are included in the period based on the date the Copilot payment is generated. For example, if a Copilot payment for a Bug Race is processed on October 5th, then that is the date that is used regardless of the dates on the actual Bug Race.
2. Copilot payments for all other contest types (i.e. Conceptualization, Assembly, etc.) are included based on the Registration Phase start date of each contest. For example, if you Copilot an Assembly contest and the Registration Phase start date for the contest is October 5th, then that is the date that is used.

A Copilot may only win once so if a Copilot wins first place for more than one Period, the trip will be given to the next Copilot in line who has not already won a trip.

Please note: The first Period will begin on July 1, 2012 and end on September 30, 2012 The second Period will begin on October 1, 2012 and will end on December 31, 2012. The third Period will begin on January 1, 2013 and will end on March 31, 2013. The fourth Period will begin on April 1, 2013 and
