2007 TopCoder® High School Tournament

The inaugural installment of the TopCoder High School Tournament has arrived! In keeping with TopCoder's competitive model, the tournament will bring together some of the most talented high school students in a heated battle for bragging rights and scholarships worth at least $50,000. We are excited to have partnered with Purdue University to show off their campus and your talent in the onsite finals at their brand new CS facility -- the Lawson Building.

Important Dates:

Registration opens: February 13, 2007
Registration closes: February 25, 2007
Online Elimination Rounds: February 26 through April 16, 2007

Who can compete?

Students will be able to compete either as an individual or as part of a team representing their school, or, in case they are not affiliated with a school, representing their town or themselves. In order to be eligible for the TCHS tournament, students must be between the ages of 13 and 20 (inclusive) and must not yet be enrolled at a college or university. All students who register from a school will be part of that school's team. Eligible students who do not attend a school can register to compete as an individual. In order to be eligible for participation in the TCHS tournament, teams and individuals must participate in at least four (4) rated TCHS SRMs by February 12, 2007.

TCHS Prize Purse:

A prize purse of at least $50,000 in scholarships will be awarded.
