Challenge Overview

TopCoder recently ran a series of projects for a client that utilized the clients v17 design standards. We would like to create a custom scorecard based on the existing Assembly scorecard so that the v17 rules & standards get checked before we hand over code/deliverables to the client team

During the previous contests with the standard Assembly scorecard, we ran into some challenges, specifically:

  1. There is a concern that client teams are answering the same or similar questions repeatedly during subsequent projects which is driving up the time spent on the project by resources.
  2. The clients are pointing how the same issues for each assembly that should have been caught during review.
  3. We need to enforce standards in review – the clients have found multiple issues after delivery.

In summary, we need you to create a custom Assembly scorecard to solve the issues explained above. This scorecard should address the issues that came up in past contests.

Notes

  • You MUST review the past projects / contests where issues occured to make sure the new scorecard helps prevent these issues from occuring in future contests. This includes reviewing the scorecards and forum posts for the previous contests.
  • You must review the clients v17 design standards.
  • Please ask questions on the forum if anything is unclear.
