Challenge Overview
Mnemosyne the CLIENT of this project wants to build a web application that will enable users to get the sizing of a software or a hardware appliance for a RecoverPoint tool implementation. The users will input the sizing request in an HTML5 page. The request will be sent to a cloud based back end that will use RP Analysis module to respond to the sizing request. The result will be displayed to the user in the same HTML5 page. The output workspace will be navigable in the same page.
The target application will present two modes of input and output: basic and advanced. Basic mode is for users that have limited RP knowledge whereas the Advanced mode is for users with advanced RP tool knowledge. But in the first phase of the application we will only build the Basic mode.
The scope of this module is to build the basic planning functionality.
The goal of this contest is to build Selenium testing scripts in Java, which execute all manual test cases of this Smoke Test automatically. Competitors should use Selinum to automate web app testing across required browsers(listed in Technology Overview section).
