Challenge Overview
A financial services client is building an Oracle ODS that will receive input daily from several flat files varying in size from thousands to tens of millions of records in each daily file. The data loaded into the ODS will be exposed to client, financial advisor and internal service team web sites via stored procedures invoked by the front-ends in various ways.
The ODS is broken into two separate schemas, an application schema containing all the data exposed to web sites, and a control schema that is used to track the status of the data in the application schema.
The purpose of this contest is to implement the second batch of control schema update stored procedures. The stored procedures associated with the application schema will be implemented by the client’s development team.
Final Submission Guidelines
The Stored Procedures are described using Visio diagrams.
