48hrs!! CSFV Logaholic Reports Update

Project Overview

This project, the CSFV Community Gaming website project will provide the web site infrastructure and integration of the games. This will be a web site that is available on the Internet, and also will be delivered in a form where the server and the games can be installed and used behind a firewall.

Competition Task Overview

The goal of this challenge is to build two new logaholic reports for CSFV websites.

We need reports that provide useful information to help marketing teams to understand and solve the following two issues :

• We have a very high bounce rate as shown in production logaholic tracking tool, but the current report does not provide much information, we need a solution (i.e. a very comprehinsive report) to show us a list of visited pages, for each page we need to see the visits count, pageviews count, unique pageviews count, Average time on site, returned visitors count, new visitors count, and bounce rate %. With ability to sort columns.
• Referring sites: This is an extremely important set of analytics for marketing purposes. Ideally, We would like to find out where good players are coming from, to find out how to target advertising at successful players. To improve the referring site analytics, we need a Logaholics report that would provide the referring site statatics, it should basically have a list of sites with some useful information (up to you to provide, but some of them would be, visits count, hits count, registered user count .. etc), and a detailed report when clicking on the referring site to show list of users who came and registered from that referring site and what score they achieved in each game, and last time they played the game. We have gaming api for each game that can be used to retrieve users info, note that we are associating logaholic users with CSFV users, thus it should be simple to get information about users from gaming api.

Logaholic VM

We will provide you with a logaholic VM, it includes latest logaholic deployed with customized changes we made early this year via this architecture challenge. It also contains a database for 6 logaholic profiles that you can use it to test your reports to be created. It has enough information about referring sites, and bounce rates.
