Challenge Overview
The presentation engine application will specify a declarative user Interface Definition Language for 3rd party vendors to build applications, where such 3rd party applications will serve a variety of contents such as text, image, flash, video, sound and etc. The application will also build the language engine or container to run such 3rd party applications on some servers that will in turn render the user interface on some remote clients, and handle the user interactions.
The user interface language is named XOWL, standing for the eXtensible Open Widget Language. It will include elements or tags for the UI controls, data binding, events and styling. 3rd party application developers will use XOWL to create applications.
This component verifies the JavaScript Security to control different trust-levels for different applications.
