Contest Overview
Detailed Requirements
* A WordPress theme is a folder containing all the images, css, javascript, and PHP files that describe the appearance and layout of a WordPress blog. The PHP files have a standard naming convention for page types, and contain and use template tags to call for specific information from the blog's database, such as a post title, the post date, it's categories, and more. * Attached to this contest are the source files for the Long Beach Association storyboard designs, and a folder containing theWordpress theme. In short, we want the provided theme to look like the provided design, without losing any of the functionality of the theme. We have chosen this theme because it is most similar in layout and structure to the Long beach design. * This particular theme has a number of stylesheets for different color options. YOU NEED ONLY SKIN THE "DEFAULT" THEME. * All existing pages in the Default theme should be included in the look of the storyboards. * For this website, the home page shown will simply be a static Wordpress "Page" Tutorial- Building Custom WordPress Theme: http://www.webdesignerwall.com/tutorials/building-custom-wordpress-theme/ http://www.wpdesigner.com/2007/02/19/so-you-want-to-create-wordpress-themes-huh/ The WordPress Codex (a guide to template tags) http://codex.wordpress.com/ Link about Wordpress HTML/CSS Validation ( found on software documentation ) http://www.wpdesigner.com/2007/03/08/wp-theme-lesson-8-how-to-validate/ If you have any questions at all please post them in the forums and we'll do our best to answer them in timely fashion.
