Welcome to the Office of Personnel Management SCRD Challenge!
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is launching a series of challenges to develop a flexible Service Credit Redeposit/Deposit (SCRD) system that can provide a robust accounting tool for posting and adjusting payments. The mission of the SCRD is to compute deposits and redeposits, create an initial bill, post payments, and send out receipts to Federal employees for periods of federal employment service that were either not covered by retirement deductions (deposits), or were covered and later refunded by the federal government (redeposits).
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation is working with OPM to administer the challenge series.
The challenge series is anticipated to last at least 35 weeks with over 100 contests and approximately $400,000 in prize awards.
Interested persons should read the Official Rules and register at the Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation Challenge portal: http://community.topcoder.com/coeci/. Registration is free and can be completed at any time before an entry is submitted in response to a particular competition.
