Welcome to the Alcatel-Lucent Challenge
The Alcatel-Lucent Challenge is an ongoing challenge for TopCoder members to develop the highest quality telecommunications-related software through various competition formats. The different flavors of competitions you will see as part of the challenge will range from sample applications, to test harnesses, to direct development of our own OpenAPIServices APIs and they will span all TopCoder competition types. At Alcatel-Lucent we are making a large investment in the TopCoder community, so expect to see more competitions with greater frequency as time goes on.
The Alcatel-Lucent Challenge represents our personal challenge to each active TopCoder member to be the best at what they do. That is why we feel it is so important to give recognition where and when it is due. In addition to standard prizes for winning competitions, competitors will win simply by particpating in the challenge. You don’t even need to win a competition in order to be recognized. Top earners are displayed on the leaderboards found on the main challenge page and, members with exceptional work will be featured in the news feed as well as on the OpenAPIServices website.
How to Compete
There is no special registration necessary to compete in Alcatel-Lucent contests. You only need to be a member of TopCoder & TopCoder Studio.
You will also want to check out the OpenAPIService APIs available at openapiservice.com. These APIs will be both used and developed in many of the Alcatel-Lucent Challenge competitions.
