Winners announced on 12.17.10
Alas, all good things must come to an end. Please see the full press release and winners list.
What is this contest?
Alcatel-Lucent has exposed a number of telecommunications APIs at openapiservice.com and openapilab.com. Now we are challenging the TopCoder community to build 100 apps in 100 days using these APIs … and we have over 100 prizes to award to the best developers. Now is your chance to show us what you’ve got – for your piece of over $165,000 in prizes!
To enter, register as a TopCoder member, register for the contest and build your application. The competition begins with 25 days of ideas. You should invent an application that mashes-up any of the 3rd party APIs found on programmableweb.com with the Alcatel-Lucent APIs. Submit your idea in Online Review during the first 25 days of the contest for your first chance at prizes. Additional prizes will be awarded after the 50 and 75 day milestones, but the main prize purse, including the grand prize trip to Mobile World Congress 2011, will be awarded to the best applications submitted any time during the 100 days. For full contest rules and details read more here. Good luck, and have fun!
